Singapore Visa Types
Based on the purpose of the visit, the Singaporean permits can be classified into the following types -
- Tourist- This is issued for individuals who are travelling to the country to take part in tourism-related activities.
- Business - If your purpose of visit it is to attend business meetings, conferences, and other business activities, you will be issued with a business visa.
- Visitor- This type of permit is granted for people visiting their friends or family living in Singapore.
- Employment Pass - These are granted for individuals who are planning to travel to work in the country.
- Student Pass- This is issued for students who are visiting the country to take part in academic courses.
Documents Required for Singapore Visa from India
As per the Singapore visa application requirements, the following are the general documents you will need to apply for any type of the permit. However, you may require additional documents depending on the particular category you are applying for.
- A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry in Singapore.
- 2 photographs as per the specifications.
- A duly filled and signed application form.
- Confirmed air tickets.
- Bank statements for the past 6 months.
- Covering letter stating the details of the visit.
