Based on the purpose of the visit and the duration of stay, there are a few types of Malaysian permit. 

·         Tourist- This type is granted for people travelling to Malaysia for tourism purposes.

Documents Required for Malaysia Visa from India

As per the Malaysia visa application requirements, the following are the general list of documents required. Based on the exact type of the permit, there will be other documents required as well.

•          2 photos as per the specifications. 
•          Proof of funds such as bank statements. 
•          Confirmed flight tickets.

Processing Time

The time for processing depends on the type of the visa, the mode of application, the volume of applications at the embassy, and so on. The e-visas are issued fast within about 5 to 7 working days. However, the sticker permit can take up to 7 days as well. As a result, ensure that you apply well in advance.
