Croatia visa types
There are different kinds of visas depending on the purpose of the visit. The main types of visa to Croatia are as follows:
- Tourist visa
A visa issued for the travellers who are willing to visit the country for tourism, Croatia tourist visa is issued. This visa will allow you to tour throughout the country and visit your favourite tourist locations.
- Visitor visa
This visa is required when you are looking forward to visiting your family or friends in the country. To obtain this visa, you require an invitation from the person you are visiting in Croatia. The validity for a Croatia visitor visa can be extended as per the requirement.
- Business visa
It can be issued for attending business conferences, a business meeting for a branch of your own organization or a sister company, or attend client meetings, or open a new branch. The validity of the business visa for Croatia is 90 to 180 days allowing a stay up to 90 days. The validity will still depend on the Embassy.
Documents required for Croatia Visa
Documents required for Croatia visa for Indians are as follows -
- An original passport valid for at least 3 months ahead of the date of travel.
- Visa application form, completely filled
- Coloured photographs as per the photo specifications
- A cover letter with all the required details
- Confirmed flight tickets
- Income Tax Returns proof
- Travel Health Insurance
- Proof of accommodation - invitation letter, hotel reservation, etc.
- Proof of sufficient funds - bank statement or any other equivalent document.
- Proof of identification and nationality - PAN card, Adhaar card
- Copy of valid older visas (if any) - USA, UK, Schengen, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Chile.
Photo Specifications of Croatia Visa
The photo specifications of Croatia visa are as follows
- Two copies must be provided
- Photo size: 35 mm x 45 mm.
- Coloured copy must be provided.
- The face must cover about 60-70% of the frame.
- Head should well-centred.
- The picture must not be older than 6 months.
- The background must be white
- Neutral expressions
- Glasses are not permitted.
- Headgears are not allowed except for religious reasons.
- Clothing shouldn’t match the background.
